世界は今この瞬間も「別の状態であったかもしれない可能性」 を排除しながら、ひとつの形を保っている。しかしそれは、常に合理的で安定したものになるとは限らない。木の枝がまっすぐにではなく、折れ曲がり捩れながら伸びていくように、排除された可能性の影を色濃く反映したものとなる。
グチックとは、ありそうでいてどこにも存在しない象徴的なフォルムを指した呼称である。その姿は「あったかもしれない可能性」を具現化させた「もう一つの現実」、あるいは「隠された真実のカタチ」であり、私はそれを、ドローイングを繰り返すことで意識の底から丹念に掘り起こしていく。
画面に定着されたグチックは、さらに現実の建築物の壁面を侵食し、虚のボリュームをもって我々の眼前に立ち現れる。そのとき、あったかもしれないが実際はそうならなかったもうひとつの世界が、グチックというフォルムを介して確かにそこに存在している。

[English Statement]
Even at this very moment, the world retains its singular form by excluding the "possibility that it could have been otherwise." However, this form is not necessarily always rational or stable. Just as tree branches grow not in straight lines but by bending and twisting, the resulting form strongly reflects the shadows of those excluded possibilities.
"GUTIC" is a term referring to symbolic forms that appear plausible, yet exist nowhere. These figures are "another reality" that embodies "what might have been," or perhaps the "hidden true shape." Through repetitive drawing, I carefully excavate them from the depths of my consciousness.
The GUTIC fixed onto the picture plane proceeds to encroach upon the walls of actual architecture, manifesting before our eyes with a volume of the void. In that moment, an alternative world—one that might have been but never came to pass—undeniably exists there, mediated by the form of GUTIC.
